I love secret marriage proposal, but if they are done in secret they do require a ceratin amount of planning and logistics. This one was particularly tricky simple because the Alabama Hills is such an expansive place. Spenser and I emailed back and forth, with us sending maps back and forth until we had it nailed down. And it all went off without a hitch, with me pretending to be a landscape photographer shooting pictures of Mt. Whitney in the Background—an easy task given you can't throw an egg out the window in the Alabama Hills without hitting a photographer, drone operator, or illegal campfire.
